The league’s junior arm — JT20, the junior competitions that run through the season, and the winter indoor competition.
JT20
The junior tournament arm
JT20 runs under the VECL brand as the league’s junior tournament. It is where most players meet the league for the first time, and it feeds the same season, the same officials and the same way of recording a performance as the senior competition.
Junior cricket here is not a separate, quieter thing happening alongside the real league. It is the same league.

Winter
The winter indoor competition
The league also runs an indoor competition through winter, which keeps players in cricket between the outdoor seasons rather than losing half the year to it.

Juniors and the international pathway
The international pathway is open to juniors as well as seniors. A junior playing JT20 can try out for the December camp at KIOC in exactly the same way as a senior player — it is one try-out and one squad.
