The partnership
Victorian Elite – KIOC High Performance International Pathway
The Karnataka Institute of Cricket in Bengaluru hosts and coaches the camps at the heart of the international pathway. KIOC is a separate organisation with its own name, marks and curriculum — this is a partnership, not a franchise, and nothing on this site should be read as VECL speaking for them.

Our partner in Bengaluru
The Karnataka Institute of Cricket marked its silver jubilee in 2021 and has been coaching in Bengaluru for close to three decades. In Karnataka, the name does the introduction.
Players coached at KIOC include Robin Uthappa, Mayank Agarwal, Manish Pandey and Devdutt Padikkal, and the academy’s own profile records international cricketers for India, the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries. Our players train under that same coaching staff, on their surfaces, against opposition KIOC arranges.
We name them because they say something about the academy our players are going to. They do not say anything about where any individual player will end up, and we would be wary of anyone who suggested otherwise.
The academy is built for volume rather than for a handful of players: twenty covered nets across four different surfaces, bowling machines, floodlights, a gym, an in-house physiotherapist, video and speed analysis, and hostel accommodation for players who have travelled in. It is the reason an eight-day camp can be a working week rather than a visit.

India
VECL’s Chennai operation is run by a separate Indian entity under its own ownership. The two leagues share a brand and a pathway; they are not the same company, and this site does not speak for that one.
Operator
The league is run by Elite Cricket Group, which also operates the Elite Cricket Academy centres, Elite Sport retail, and the booking and player-development platform the league runs on.
