Turf T20 competition in Melbourne across three franchises, a junior arm in JT20, and an international pathway sitting above all of it.

December 2026 season
The league season: turf T20 across the three franchises, around 150 players, in the December window.

Melbourne tournaments
A T20 tournament each December and again from March, played on turf with appointed officials, scoring and statistics.

JT20 & junior competitions
The league’s junior arm, running under the VECL brand through the season, alongside the winter indoor competition.

Girls & women
The league and the pathway are open to girls and to senior women — not as an afterthought, and not as a single phrase on a page.
How the season works
Register once, then team selection.
Players register for the season rather than with a franchise, and squads are picked from everyone who registers. Registration and payment run through our booking app — this website explains the competition and hands you over.
The international pathway is a separate programme with its own try-out. A player can do the season, the pathway, or both; the registration chooser sets out which is which before you fill anything in.
To be confirmed Fixtures, ladders and results are published here once a season is under way.
December 2026 season
Team selection is open to everyone who registers.
Match days are 24, 27, 28, 29 and 30 December 2026. The registration fee is $20; venues are published as soon as they are set.
